Big Apple JuiceBar

After a long, cold, windy day nothing quite hits the spot like a perfectly poured latte, soothing jazz music and candlelit corners overlooking the decorated streets below…  just like mid-afternoon during high summer, when few things come close to an ice cold fruit shake outside whillst people-watching. All year round, if you’re a student who is sick of being stuck in libraries or study rooms until all hours of the night, this cozy two-storey juice bar welcomes you with phenomenal sandwiches, rich coffees and fruity smoothies.

One of the best places I have found in the city center is the Big Apple JuiceBar. With comfortable chaise longues, bar stools, and if you’re really lucky an unoccupied, raised bed, you can’t help but make yourself at home. If you are anything like me you can spend hours relaxing with a drink and a sandwich with nothing more than a great book for company, or hide away in a quiet corner and study until they kindly, with a friendly smile and wave, throw you out when it gets late.

Much more comfortable than Joe and the Juice, less expensive and more intimate than Starbucks, and with much better coffee (for those not used to drinking the strong Danish variety) than Baresso; the Big Apple JuiceBar is the perfect combination of cozy, affordable, and top quality coffee and shakes.

That’s just my opinion though, if you want to form one of your own, which I hope you do, just head on over… A warm and friendly, and, I’m unashamed to say, rather attractive staff, await you with a large assortment of refreshments. I promise there is something for everyone, and I hope you can show your appreciation on their Facebook page. One never knows, you may become a regular, or we may bump into each other there and share tales of Copenhagen. Anything could happen…

I’ll check in soon from beautiful Copenhagen…
