Winter 2013

It’s been a long year, and I really must apologize for not having written anything of worth.

Seasons are changing, and on a personal level I am finally in a great place. New school, new people, pretty much a new life. I wanted to share some photos with you from November and this week, running up to Christmas, and promise that when I come back in January, I’ll get to work and share some more about the city with you.

Tuborg wishing a Merry Christmas and a happy new year, back in November when they released this year’s Christmas brew

Shaky Nyhavn at night, the first day of their Christmas market

Sunrise from my window. Just thought it was pretty enough to share ^^

Hotel D’Angleterre has been under construction, but is now back with its annual Christmas decorations.

They really do go all out each year

The first snow this year, the road outside my school Friday night, shortly after the big storm passed

I’ll check in soon from beautiful Copenhagen…

    • According to Hotel D’Angleterre’s website:
“The owners invested hundreds of millions of Danish Kroner in the hotel and the famous Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad was involved in decorating the hotel restaurant, which also bore his name until the spring of 2005, the famous Christmas decoration with thousands of lights has been a fixed element on the façade of the hotel since 1995”
